Yellowstone, the world's oldest and largest National Park is my passion and my backyard. I spend a great deal of time exploring and enjoying the natural wonders of the area.
The "Grand Old Park", established in 1872 by an act of congress, consists of 2.2 million acres and incorporates 300 miles of roads and over 1,000 miles of marked trails. Yellowstone contains the largest and most varied collection of hydrothermal features. It's also a sanctuary for many rare and beautiful animals.

Signs such as this are a very common sight from Spring
through Fall just about anywhere in the Park... |

Smaller animals can also be found in the Park

|
Such as Chipmunks and Marmots
Yellowstone has the world's largest number
of natural geysers, fumerols and hot springs

Not every visitor to Yellowstone will see a bear, but every visitor will have an experience of a life time.
Please remember while in Yellowstone to follow the rules and regulations... they were established for your safety.
A couple of the rules are to stay on the walkways and do not approach or feed the animals.
Every year several unfortunate visitors are gored by buffalo or attacked by a bear because they did not follow these simple rules.
Love Yellowstone, but can't be there as often as you'd like?
